Through her love for sewing Lynda has been
using the technique of
Native American Indian bead weaving to create her handmade jewelry. She
uses
small delicate, seed beads and crystals, incorporating precious & semi-precious stones, which adds further beauty and character to each
piece. Since she has always loved to knit, she offers a variety
beautiful
scarves, wraps and felted purses with unique patterns and yarns. She
calls her
handmade gifts and jewelry "From the Heart", which expresses the care
and love
put into each one of her creations.
"The gift of a handmade treasure has always been special to me and it
is with great pride to be part of Sunflower Studio & Gallery. I love to sew
and enjoy creating jewelry blending various types of the Native American Indiana
weaves. My pieces are elegant, lightweight but durable and it is amazing to see
how so many intricate little beads can form such a graceful pattern.
Take one of my wraps with you on a cool summer evening or dress up a
holiday affair with a nice felted evening bag and knitted wrap.
I hope the future will bring the opportunity to provide one of a kind
bridal pieces for those looking for a special heirloom. From the Heart also offers simple repairs and giving old keepsakes a
fresh new look."
