Mary Benejam - Oil Paintings & Commissions -
Although Mary finds beauty and inspiration in all of life's offerings, it is her appreciation and love of life that is conveyed most in her artwork. Mary is a multi-talented artist who works in many mediums including oils, watercolors, pastels, charcoal and pencils.

Her artwork is not limited in subject matter or scope. Whether she is working on portraits, landscapes or other general subjects, she always tries to capture the true essence of the subject matter.  She is equally competent working on her own originals or gladly accepts commissions for varied subject matter.

Suzanne Thomas - Pastels - Suzanne's focus in art over the past fifteen years has been primarily pastel landscape painting. Her introduction to the medium of pastels was as a young teen through her artist aunt. Her primary works are in pastels, but she works also in acrylic with avid ease. She has recently been selected to include several works in a book now available which has just been released called Painting North Carolina: Impressions in Plein Air, by Kimberlee C. Maselli, which includes images, quotations, and information on plein air painting, one of Suzanne's loves.

Gayle Blackerby- Acrylic Abstracts, Watercolor Pencils, Oil Pastels - The passions one can find in life are multi-sensory adventures, which Gayle has always enjoyed in one form or another in her work. As most fine artists, she has enjoyed many diverse mediums of expression such as photography, watercolors and acrylics. The current focus has been abstract acrylic canvases, however realism still plays a role in the final art if you watch the brush strokes carefully. Her painting process is a constant study in airy uncertainties and possible dreams.

Most of her watercolor work over the years has been realistic in nature and some taken directly from photographs.  However, with the loose touch of the brush her art expresses itself beyond the click of the shutter. Gayle enjoys all of these forms of art expression and hopes you will come with her on an unexpected journey and find a new way of looking at our world through her art. Anything is possible.

Gayle has her BA in Art & Design from University of North Alabama. She is also President of AGES Productions, a design and advertising company in Raleigh, NC.
