The Sunflower Studio is located in the heart of historic downtown Wake
Forest. A charming renovated bungalow provides a relaxed working environment
for the six resident artists whose works adorn every nook and cranny.
EXPERIENCE ART IN PROGRESS We invite you to experience our warm gallery setting and discover original
works of art in watercolors, acrylics, pastels and oils, as well as
local landmark paintings and hand forged and crafted precious metal
and beaded jewelry. The gallery offers a unique opportunity to meet
and visit with each artist as she works.
The Sunflower Studio has become a treasured destination to purchase artwork,
jewelry and gifts, bring out-of-town guests and experience creativity at its finest.
ART AFTER HOURS The second Friday of each month the gallery presents "Art After
Hours" , a special event from 5-9 PM with live music and light
hors d'oeuvres to kick off a new and exciting show featuring the talents
of selected local artists. July 10th AAH will feature two sculptors and painters, VICTORIA BRADLEY and CHERYL McCARDLE in the Guest Gallery. Click here for more info.

Ask us about our new "Art Experience"! Bring your group by the Sunflower for a special tour of each artists' work and method of painting or jewelry making. This is for groups of eight or more. Offered on Thursdays from 10:30-12:00. Coffee, tea and finger foods are provided. Call the Sunflower or 623-5253 for reservations or more information!
Our "Paint Party" offers a fun
variation of art lessons for adults. If you would like to try your hand
at painting, we have a class once a month, where you will create your
own canvas painting in acrylic to take home that evening. You are
allowed to bring your favorite beverage and any finger foods you
would like to share. Classes are the 3rd Thursday of each
month from 6:30-9:00 or schedule your own group "Paint Party". If one class is full, we will create a new class, so check with us at the studio and be sure to always register early to insure your place! Click on the logo above for more information.
